Seems like the lot of us are heading East. Anyone staying by the home fires?
And what are we going to talk about? (I pretty well know what the discussion will be about after the symposium!) Lance, do you still plan on monitoring things while you are away? Or is this an instance of the "cat being away"?

I won't be there, but I won't be home, either. I'm heading to Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamps!

I'll have A.S.I.A on my mind but in a state of frenzy in my parallel universe.

Sure wish I could be there! But I promise to tip a celebratory beer each evening in tribute to the Traveling OLFers.

I'm not going either. Like John, I will be staying here in the Oklahoma heat.

Gotta get that 12 fret, kinda sorta parlor'ish little walnut guitar finished before the grandson'a birthday next month.

Hope all you guys have a great time though!

Well-- I'm glad the question was asked... now I don't feel so all alone.

JohnH-- John K and I are finally going to do a collaborative guitar. When John's older son married last week, we pretty well finalized our plans. The first guitar will be an "All-American" effort-- native indigenous woods: walnut, redwood or red spruce (something red), maple bindings, and either Texas ebony or desert ironwood for f/b bridge. It will be mailed back and forth, somewhat like the OLF guitar. Only not as much mailing!

Mario--sounds like you're going to have more fun than all of us. With perhaps the exception of Colin.

I'll be home playing the BLUES.......
It's 103 here in Las Vegas, NV today and expected to get hotter this weekend.
I'm going to sit on a block of ice and my wife promises to fan me down when it gets too hot.

I will be home too. But, that is not so bad, I get to work on guitars!

Walter, hurry up and build a guitar so you can trade it for an airconditioner!

I'll be here. Coast to coast trip? not for me. Healdsburg is only about 4-5 hrs away and I probably won't be going there either. Lazy I guess. Maybe the next Healdsburg. Maybe by then I build a few suitable guitars and... Well we all have to have a dream.

I'll be home finishing a project for my wife so I can get onto building my next guitar.

A little too far to travel for me anyways.

Yep, coast to coast isn't going to happen for me either. I'll have to wait until GAL next spring. It's only 90 minutes away.

I'm sitting it out this time, there's so much going on in my life right now that Healdsburg is in danger if I can't get the shop back up and running soon. So you can imagine than Asia is not even on the radar, would have liked to attended though...

I would love to go but too dang tight to spend the time and money. Depending on a lot of good feedback from you all. I would be more than happy to spend some money with ASIA for seminar videos, however.

I'll be staying home too. We just got back from a vacation and can't swing another trip just yet. Would have loved to be there right now though.
